Happy and prosperous chinese new year

Dear Mauritian citizens,
I am happy to present to you, according to tradition, my best wishes for the Chinese New Year 2021. I hope that it will bring you and all yours a lot of joy and satisfaction. And that those who will encounter hardships find comfort, especially friendship from our great family of Solidarity Maryer Pike family.
While having a thoughtful and united thought for those of you who have lost a loved one, we send you our best wishes for happiness, individual and collective fulfillment, without forgetting to safeguard our precious health.
Happiness, it will be necessary to seek it through an increase in fraternity and solidarity, through the struggles that the context exacerbates between those who live from their work and those who exploit it, as in the niches of well-being that sometimes life knows how to reserve things for us.
The new struggles must guarantee the existence of social work and training, respect for animals, natural spaces and biodiversity and a courageous fight against the causes of climate change. The new consideration for health calls for both a transformation of health systems and a new approach to the ways of producing, consuming, working, enhancing and expanding the common public goods, and respecting nature.
The day dawns in a new year. I wish you a radiant horizon and a lighted road for a magnificent health.
